1Who we are
Melon.lat is owned and operated by Phytoventures Ltd (company number 16388003), Belmont Suite, Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton, England, BL6 6HG. "We", "us", and "our" mean Phytoventures Ltd. "You" and "the Member" mean the person holding a membership.
2Membership is by application
Melon.lat is a private membership offered by application only. Creating an account submits an application. We may accept or decline any application at our discretion, and we are not obliged to give a reason. Membership begins only once we approve your application, you sign the membership agreement, and your first payment is taken.
3What membership includes
A single membership includes the League service, a personal name@melon.lat email address, a no-log VPN, invitations to in-person gatherings we hold across the United Kingdom, a dedicated account manager, access to every Phytoventures service at no cost, access to our software, and our development solutions at a 50% discount. We may improve, change, or withdraw individual services where reasonable, and will give notice of material changes.
4Fees, VAT, and yearly term
Membership is a yearly contract. You commit for a full year at £149.90 per year, with UK VAT at 20% added on top. Payment is taken in full at the start of each year by card through Stripe and renews automatically for a further year until cancelled. If a payment fails we may suspend access until it is resolved.
5Cancellation and refunds
Because membership is a yearly commitment, cancelling stops the next annual renewal. Your membership continues until the end of the year you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not refund the unused part of a paid year except where the law requires it.
6Your account
Membership is personal to you and may not be shared or transferred. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
7Acceptable use
You agree to use the services lawfully and not to use them to harm, harass, defraud, or impersonate any person, to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems. We may suspend or end membership for serious or repeated breaches.
8Intellectual property
The Melon.lat name, marks, and platform are ours or our licensors'. Your membership grants you a personal right to use the services; it does not transfer any ownership to you.
9Liability
We provide the services with reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
10Ending membership
You may end your membership at any time by cancelling. We may end or suspend it for breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. On ending, your right to use the services stops, subject to any access already paid for.
11Privacy
Our use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
